With the recent news stories featuring cases of kidnapping and abductions, it's no wonder many are on high alert to protect their own.
As a Believer, I definitely rely heavy on my faith in God to be my Protector which also means being wise about being particular and proactive to using skills in the natural just in case I am placed in a situation. I grew up in a home with law enforcement down the hall... my mother. It was embedding in us (my sister and I) to be conscious of our surroundings, and to know and use techniques to protect ourselves even if our attacker was bigger than us.
Mom talked about how easy it was to be "caught slipping" because women aren't aware of the environment and possible threats. For example, when was the last time you were on the phone walking to your car from the store? Putting groceries in the car, or walking to your front door looking for your keys in your purse?...
